The Caribbean Cement Producers Association (APCAC) gathers companies, which manufacture cement in the Caribbean and Central America.

It was founded for the following purposes:

• To promote the development, general welfare and expansion of the cement and concrete industries in the region.

• To promote and organize congresses related to the use of cement, and

• To improve products, operations, uses and applications of cement and to promote the improvement of the technology of operating plants.

• To carry out appropriate activities to fulfill these goals, including the growth and expansion of the cement markets, and to carry out the duties and agreements wich are in any way related to attaining these objectives

The Association recognizes as its Founding Members:

- Cemex Venezuela (formerly C.A. Venezolana de Cementos)

- Cementos del Caribe, S.A., Colombia

- Cementos Caribe (formerly Consolidada de Cementos, C.A.), Venezuela

- Fábrica Dominicana de Cementos, S.A., República Dominicana

- Puerto Rican Cement Co., Puerto Rico

- Trinidad Cement Limited, Trinidad y Tobago.
